Albert Heijn Museumplein

For the renovation of Albert Heijn at Museumplein in Amsterdam, I was asked to create a series of artworks for the store. Surrounded by some of the city’s most iconic museums, the location offered a natural starting point for the concept.

I wanted to create a clear and accessible connection to the art found in the surrounding museums, while keeping it playful and relevant to the everyday setting of a supermarket. By combining references to well-known works of art with a subtle twist on familiar Albert Heijn products, the artworks bring the worlds of art and everyday life together.
